- I am proud to call myself a Synergistic Librarian (aka: information specialist, library director and grant writer) who recognizes the value of the collective. Synergy is the combined power & cooperative interaction among people or groups and has been described by Stephen Covey as…“the whole is greater than the sum of the parts.” When we unite there is increased strength, leadership, knowledge and vision.
